Paige Healy, RD, LD
Director of Bethany at Home and LifeChoices® at Bethany Advocate
I am a Registered Dietitian and earned my Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Iowa State University and completed my dietetic internship at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. While going to school in Ames, I fell in love with the town and the surrounding communities. I live with my husband Erick, and our two children, Emmett and Margo, in Story City. When I’m not at work I love to exercise, spend time outdoors, read, listen to music and try out new recipes! I have a true passion for health and wellness and helping others be the best version of themselves. My favorite part about my job is that I have so many opportunities to reach and help people. I get to make a difference in so many lives and help our LifeChoices members live healthy, happy lives and stay in their homes independently while they age in place.
Heather Estes
LifeChoices® at Bethany Advocate
I currently live in Nevada with my husband Kurt, two children Brooklyn and Logan and our spoiled dog Zeus. I came from a large family and I was raised in a small town in central Iowa. Some of my hobbies include traveling, camping, and enjoying the outdoors. As a family we are also avid Minnesota Viking football fans. I absolutely enjoy spending my free time with family and friends, and of course the scenery while on the back of my husband’s motorcycle. Before becoming an Advocate for Life Choices, I successfully owned and operated a licensed daycare in my home for 15 years. My passion has and will always be to care for and help others. I completed my CNA license, from DMACC, in April of 2022. This will give me additional knowledge and skills to better assist our aging members to remain in their homes.
Victoria Harsh
LifeChoices® at Bethany Advocate
Hi! I was born and raised in Ames but now live in Roland with my husband, Ty, and our three dogs Milo, Dakota, and Loki, as well as our cat, Olli. I earned my Associate’s degree in Human Services from DMACC and in December of 2025, I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Human Services. I was drawn to this field due to my desire in assisting people with their needs. I want to be the person that people turn to during their highs, the lows, and everything in between. Outside of work and school, I enjoy going for walks, visiting coffee shops, reading, and spending quality time with the people I love.
Robyn Tystahl
LifeChoices® at Bethany Advocate
Hi, I’m Robyn. I live in rural Radcliffe with my husband, Troy. We enjoy spending time with our five grown children and three active grandchildren. Originally from Emmetsburg, Iowa, I grew up with a love for sports that has stayed with me throughout life.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Management, but after the pandemic, I felt called to shift paths and pursue a career in healthcare. That change led me to serve as the Clinical Coordinator at the Households of Bethany, a role that deepened my passion for supporting others—especially ensuring that aging adults have the resources and care they need to live long, fulfilling lives.
Now, as an Advocate for Life Choices, I bring that same dedication to helping people thrive and remain in their home. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, staying active, dining out with friends, and golfing with Troy.
Austin Mortvedt
Executive Director of Home and Community-Based Services
Austin grew up on a farm outside of Nevada, Iowa, and now lives in Ankeny with his wife, Heather, and their blended family of five children. A beloved member of the family is his dog, Rockey, who is a trained service dog and can often be seen accompanying Austin at work.
Austin originally attended school for Nursing but was presented with an opportunity in business and marketing that led him away from caregiving for a period of time. He also has a strong background in technology. The combination of healthcare, business, marketing, and technology experience provides a unique perspective that serves him well in his current role at Bethany Life.
As the Executive Director of HCBS, Austin oversees services and programs that extend beyond the walls of the nursing home. These include LifeChoices at Bethany, our continuing care at home program; Bethany at Home, our private-pay in-home care program and Timberland Village, our market-rate independent and assisted living community.
Austin is passionate about helping older adults remain in their homes for as long as possible by bringing needed services directly to them as they age. He also enjoys helping individuals stay active, healthy, and engaged in the activities and lifestyles they have always loved and enjoyed.
